In the period from 08 to 10 October 2024, the ICAO Training Institute of NAU conducted a course ‘Methods of safety risk assessment in Civil Aviation’.
The training has attended by the heads of the airlines “Ukrainian Helicopters” and “URGA”. The course has conducted by ICAO instructor, Deputy Director of the Educational Scientific Institute of International Cooperation and Education, Doctor of Economics, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Economic Sciences and Transport Academy of Ukraine, Professor Dmytro Bugayko.
As the result of the course, the participants’ knowledge of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) on aspects of proactive risk management implementation at the level of Ukrainian airlines has deepened. This course is of particular importance for the airlines ‘Ukrainian Helicopters’ and “URGA”, which despite the closure of Ukrainian airspace, continue to operate in different regions, carrying out humanitarian programs of the United Nations. As the result of the course, positive feedback has received from the participants.
The Director of the ICAO Training Institute of NAU, Honored Worker of Transport of Ukraine, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Mr. Oleg Petrovskyi noted, that this course was the next step in the implementation of the program of advanced training of aviation specialists of Ukraine, which is highly relevant to maintain the agreed level of security of the country during wartime.
