The ICAO Institute of the National Aviation University is the leading ICAO training center in Ukraine and the European North Atlantic Region for aviation safety professionals. Since 2003, it has been effectively cooperating with aviation authorities and aviation entities of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Even in this difficult time of war, the cooperation continues. Continuously conducting courses helps to maintain the image of Ukraine as an aviation country and generate additional revenue for the development of the NAU. In accordance with the strategy for developing cooperation between aviators of our countries and in order to ensure an adequate level of aviation security in Azerbaijan, starting from April 15, 2024, the ICAO Institute will conduct courses on the Aviation Safety Management System and the Civil Aviation Threat and Risk Assessment Methodology programs at the customer's premises. The courses are conducted by ICAO instructor, deputy director of the Educational and Research Institute of International Cooperation and Education, Doctor of Economics, corresponding member of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine, professor of the Department of Logistics of the National Aviation University Dmytro Buhaiko. We are pleased to continue our fruitful cooperation with our colleagues from Azerbaijan and contribute to improving aviation safety in the region.
