ICAO Training Institute of NAU has been actively developing co-operation with the regulator and aviation industry enterprises of the Republic of Azerbaijan on aviation safety during 18 years. The next confident step on the way of this cooperation is the ICAO Training Institute’s courses on the program “Safety Management System” for the management staff of the enterprise based on ASG Ground Handling (Azerbaijan Republic) in the period from 05 to 09 August 2024.
The courses have conducted by ICAO instructor, Vice Director of the Institute of International Cooperation and Education, Doctor of Economics, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Economic Sciences and Transport Academy of the country, Professor Dmitry Bugayko.
ASG Ground Handling is our long-standing partner, having retrained hundreds of its professionals at the ICAO Training Institute of NAU for over 10 years. ASG Ground Handling is the largest regional provider of ground handling services for passenger and cargo airlines. Providing the handling activities of ASG Ground Handling has based on ICAO, ISAGO and ECAC documents. Of particular importance in its activity is the implementation of aviation safety management system while providing ground handling services at five international airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan: Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Ganja International Airport, Lankaran International Airport, Zaqatala International Airport, Gabala International Airport.
At the end of the course, positive feedback has received from the trainees and their wishes to continue further professional development at the ICAO NAU courses.
